Designers Walk was established in 1980 by Joab Igra, a professional interior designer who addressed the need for a centrally located trade centre offering a "Village of Showrooms" dedicated to interior design products. The Designers Walk complex features 5 buildings that cover 160,000 square feet. The showrooms within these buildings represent products from leading international collections and design houses.
